Application Scope
At Present, all bankcards issued by Chinese domestic banks with the
logo can be used on ATMs of 
and all banks of the Euro6000 (
) network, as well as all ATMs of Citibank (
) to withdraw cash. The corresponding amount of RMB will be deducted from the card based on the exchange rate of the Bank of China of the day. The transaction fee is specified by the issuers of the UionPay debit card, which usually falls between the range of 0.5% - 1.5% of the withdrawal amount. Compared to the 3 - 4% fee charged by other international cards and the international transfer, using a UnionPay card to withdraw Euros is the cheapest means to exchange for the foreign currency. Except for ATMs of the Citibank, other ATMs don't support the inquiry function. UnionPay cards can't be used for cash transfer or over-the-counter withdrawal while overseas.

Fees and Withdrawal Limit
For ATM cash withdrawals with CUP cards while abroad, follow the stipulations set by relevant state authorities: The daily accumulative withdrawal amount of foreign currency per UnionPay debit card shall not exceed the equivalent of RMB 10,000. The cardholder need to pay attention to the exchange rate between RMB and Euro so as to avoid exceeding the cap amount as it is fluctuating each day.
Certain amount of commission fee will be charged by the issuing bank for cash withdrawal while abroad. Please consult the issuing bank for more details on specific rates, the times of cash withdrawal each day with a single card, withdrawal limit per time, accumulative cash withdrawal limit, etc. At present, Ping An Bank doesn't charge any fee for withdrawal with debit cards, and Hua Xia Bank doesn't charge any fee for the first three withdrawals each day for debit cards.
